From the beginning,Dr Soorita Goorah NOT friendly,as well the staff,many assistants introduced their fingers in my mouth,her diagnosis and treatments are NOT accurate,the chairs for tx are old and dirty,definitely dr Goorah is looking for the people money,is a learning experience office,never go back again.

Very disappointed. I had crowns replaced and she filed the teeth to almost nothing, exposing the nerve in the tooth. I have pain if I use my front teeth to bite into anything and also with cold foods. When I complained, Dr. Goorah suggested root canals. This would be an additional expense for me and increase the possibility of losing my teeth. Also, while I was numb, I believe that she cut into my gums and around one tooth. When I floss this area, the floss goes way up into the gums.

I went to Dr. Goorah recently and was upset at my experience. They recommended over $6k worth of treatments. The office looks dingy and dirty. The staff looks ghetto and unprofessional. Dr. had me waiting excessively to see her. The total time I was in the office was 2 hours! They had told me over the phone that the initial appointment would be 30 mins. I have a full time job & cannot just take hours of time off. She recommended unnecessary, dramatic treatments for her own monetary benefit.

I have been using this office as my general dentist for almost four years now and today I reached my end with them. Their staff have no sense of professionalism and knowledge of information, this has been going on for sometime. This is my second interaction with the office where I have left fed up with them. The first encounter was with the removal of my wisdom teeth when the Dr. left four holes in mouth with out stitching them. Aspen Hill General and Cosmetic is one of the best dental offices I have been to in a while. The staff were friendly, they explain the treatment so that one will understand and I did not even have to wait that long to be seen. Overall experience was good.

Went to Dr Goorah for a limited exam and some xrays. Seemed like she really knew what she was doing and I understood what I needed to get done and how much it would be for my next visit. She took her time and the staff were excellent. Overall good service.

Dr Goorah Soorita cares more about making money, she is hungry for it and will urge you to have all kinds of procedures done for more $$$$$$.she is not going to focus on you and lets the assistant do the rest without even seeing the final touch. I am waiting to be seen because the assistant put my crown-porc too far apart from each other and now I have a serious discomfort. I went there and called twice but the Dr or the nurses still didn't call me . I'm very disappointed and in pain.

Often late, recommended procedures that were not needed and requires advanced payment even though I have a ppo type of insurance. I've been waiting several months for the reimbursement of my balance! She is sure slow in paying her clients but fast at taking their money!!
