I have been seeing Dr. Sonny Joseph for 25 years. He goes out of his way to take care of me.He is the most compasionate Dr. i have ever known. He was educated at Harvard and MIT.He has published two books in psychiatry. He has a M.D. in psychiatry and a PHD. in clinical psychiatry.And has 30 years experience.His office staff Aimie Tina and Christi make me feel very cared for. My physician sent me to Dr. Joseph due to my meds for depression being askew. Dr. Joseph changed my medications for the better.

I have struggled with depression/anxiety all my adult life. I have been to many doctors the last many years. I was never able to get any relief and the meds I was prescribed made it impossible to function. Dr. Joseph has helped me tremendously. I am finally able to enjoy life again.

Dr. Joseph took the necessary time to understand my condition and to prescribe the correct medications. His careful judgement, experience and educational accomplishments, (M.D. in psychiatry and Ph. D. in clinical psychiatry), provided me with the confidence of a receiving the best treatment available.

Dr Joseph is wonderful doctor with a great office staff. He has been my doctor for over 20 years. This man was educated at MIT and Harvard and has been a big help to myself and other family members, particularly after the death of one of our children due to epilepsy. I highly recommend him.

I went to Dr. Joseph in 1997, he gave me a diagnosis, but he really didn't want me to get caught up in a label, which I understand. He gave me some advice & meds & they were a tremendous help. In fact, my life finally felt normal. But I had to move away & was diagnosed with something similar, so my meds were different & I was up and down for many years. I have been on medication for depression for many years. I noticed of time a gradual increase in my symptoms. Having just moved to Orlando I utilized "Healthgrades" to find a physician luckily I choose Dr Joseph. I told him my history symptoms, and previous medication and he was able to prescribe the right combinations of medications on the first attempt. After my follow ups I am doing much better. I am seen promptly. The staff is efficient and nice, and welcoming. Dr. Joseph is a pro at managing meds. That is what he does. I don't need counseling. I just need to manage my bipolar meds. If the meds stop working he comes up with a different med to add or substitute. He is a kind man.

I would recommend Dr. Joseph to anyone with mental health issues. He is a great listener and works diligently to find the right medication for each patient. I have been seeing Dr. Joseph for ten years and have found mental health stability for the first time in my adult life. He is an excellent listener, super well educated and very knowledgeable. I thank God that I ended up in Dr. Joseph’s care.
