I have been a patient for 9 years now. I drive over an hour to see Doctor Joseph because I have tried out many many doctors closer and had no success. My daughter is a patient of Dr. Joseph’s as well now because he is the best I have found! Dr. Joseph is extremely knowledgeable on what medications work together and because of this I was able to find and maintain a way of life that works for me. I almost died because of this doctor. He has been overprescribing medications to patients for years. We are talking about massive doses of Xanax and adderall. Additionally he will put you on an array of different off label medications, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, the list goes on. When I was his patient I had a medication closet….not cabinet, but a closet of meds. Finally last year I had a near fatal OD. I honestly should be dead right now. I have been a patient of Dr. Joseph for many years, but unfortunately, I’ve had a terrible time trying to reconnect with the office. After a year-long hiatus due to other health issues, I have made several attempts to schedule an appointment. Despite my efforts, I have not received the courtesy of a return call. This lack of communication is deeply concerning, especially in the field of psychiatric care where patient support is vital.
