I started seeing Dr Guide couple years ago. From the moment I met her she put me at ease. She listened to my concerns , and she put a care plan for me. She has empathy and she is extremely knowledgeable. I wouldn't let anyone touch my skin but her.
Our experience in the past was always rushed & Dr. Guide never had time but we tried again to book an appt hoping for the best. We booked our appt three months in advance. Office was not accommodating to our work schedules. We requested days off work only to have the office call & cancel so had to reschedule. We finally were able to go in & arrived the office 20 minutes early. Avoid this office! It is horribly run and there are significantly better dermatologists out there. Doctor doesn't follow up on care or return phone calls. The billing for the office is the worst I have ever encountered. I received a bill from the office 15 months after treatment! There is no apology when you prove it was paid or reimbursement when you have to pay the bank fee for a copy of the cancelled check. Exceptional, she discovered extremely early (stage 0) Melanoma on my back during my first visit, a routine skin check. The cancer was so new it was not discovered in the pathology report but in genetic testing she ordered due to the clinical presentation. Dr Guide then changed her schedule so she could schedule my surgery ASAP. Her surgical skills are outstanding and a year later I have almost no scar. We had the worst experience with Dr. Shireen Guide. We waited for about 1 hour for both two visits and waited for 1 month to get the lab result, which she said we can get it about one week. In addition to this, she was very impatient and rushed during the whole process without even greetings. She just took the lab sample and gave the prescriptions without detailed explanations of why my son needs to take that. We're so confused after the visit and would not recommend her to anyone else.
Dr Guide is the best! She is extremely professional and very knowledgeable. She is terrific with her patients and is never rushed. She makes sure you are taken care of. She has an unbelievable team. Very fortunate that we found Dr. Guide.
Waited over one hour past my appointment time. Usually behind schedule in afternoon. Unacceptable.
After multiple dermatologists, I took my son to Dr. Guide and she knew exactly what was wrong after just looking at him. She is amazingly knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her for anyone in the OC area.
I went to see Dr. Guide because I had a cyst on my armpit, it turn out to be breast cancer. I was shocked, confused and very scared, Dr. Guide dedicated her time, her staff and even her weekends to find the best care for me, she even called to be sure my insurance cover the doctors, she made the appointments for me and spend hours on the phone with me to make me feel better and answer all my questions.
