knowledgible – My dog had a weird rash and I went to my regular vet who prescribed a cream but it didn't help. So I went back, and she told me to keep using the same cream...and by this time the rash got even worse. So I came here for a second opinion and they told me to change to diet and the rash went away!

ATTENTION: BEST veterinarian !!! – ATTENTION: If you love your pet as much as I do you have to go to Dr Erin Wilson. She is soooo awesome and so attentive. Your Pet will love her just as much as you will!!!! I have never been more satisfied with a veterinarian. My Dog Brooklyn just had a bad case of kennel cough, so I went to Dr Wilson for a Diagnosis she not only told me what was going on with my animal but she also gave me options she spent time explaining the condition to me and I left reassured I could call her anytime i... read more

Such sweethearts – My 12 year old dog needed bladder surgery and the staff at the animal hospital treated her like she was one of theirs. Amazing treatment, the surgery went well and they took special care to follow up on her recovery with diligence. The most surprising part was that they stuck to their estimate for cost. I was just waiting for the hospital to tack on more fees here and there, but they stuck to the original number they gave me which was a huge relief and a surprise in this economy. They are awesome. Go there... read more

outrageous – Called this facility looking for guidance and was berated and abused verbally by this woman named Teri or Keri, Accrimonious and hostile from the start. I am an airline professional and in 30 years have not been talked down to like this. NEVER would I let my little guy endure wht must go on in the back room

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful vet – I lost my 5-year old Jack Russell Terrier to bone cancer this week. I'd been out of work almost a year when it was finally diagnosed (a dreadful vet in L.A. said he had an elbow injury and put a soft cast on his elbow, when he had a flat bone osteosarcoma in his SHOULDER), and cancer treatment is so expensive. After his surgery, I contacted Animals and Others for Friends to get options for low cost ancillary care, and they recommended Shipps. I was able to get CBCs, x-rays, and routine c... read more

Compassionate, Caring, Competent Doctor and Staff – Highly, highly recommend this vet practice. Dr. Stein is an extremely knowledgable and honest vet. Add to this a caring staff and an affiliation with the Amanda Foundation which takes care of countless abandoned animals, don't even consider going anywhere else. These people really care about your pets! I have referred others to this practice and we are all happy. I am especially happy that they saved the life of my beloved dog, Lily, who is thriving under their good care.

The worst mistake of my life – I went to Dr. Shipp animal hospital, right away the nurse encouraged me to do unnecesary operations to my poor dog. She kept on telling me to come back week after week( everytime it was something new) finally i went to a different vet and he is taking good care of my baby DO NOT GO HERE, this people are money hungry and oriented.

Dr Shipp is very compassionate – Some years ago I took my elderly cat to Dr Shipp for dental work. Dr Shipp was very compassionate and allowed me to remain with my cat while he was anesthecized, while he was awakening, and even during the procedure.
