My wife went to see Dr. Welch-Charles due to needing a hysterectomy to help with several issues and was told that she wouldn’t do the hysterectomy surgery she needed. She was told she would prescribe exercise to keep her womb from falling out instead. My wife was told that our insurance would require her to do this first. We called the insurance company and they said that was absolutely not true. They said they didn’t even require prior authorization for a hysterectomy.
