Dr. Nijhawan was excellent in so many ways. The perforated bowel surgery was very successful on my husband who also had so very many other health issues at the time. He is now expected to return home thanks to her. She was extremely caring and professional in all ways both with my husband as well as my family and me. I would certainly recommend her for all medical issues with any family member or friend. Thank you for having such a skillful and professional Doctor on your staff!

Dr. Nijhawan and her staff were very supportive and encouraging during my whole bariatric experience. When I came in with questions the doctor, nurse and dietician were always careful to answer fully and make sure I understood. The surgery was a success and instead of hating to go to the doctor's now I have heard "Excellent" and "You've done really well!" and those are great things to hear from your doctor.
Very knowledgeable. She doesn't hold any punches and gives you all information up front. She also takes her time in explaining the process of surgery along with the pros and cons. Nijhawan cares for her patients and it shows in her quality of work. I am very satisfied with Dr. Nijhawan and her staff and would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of having surgery done.
Dr. Nijhawan is one of the most caring doctors i have met. She isnt one of those doctors that are there for the money, she actually cares for her patients. She will take all the time needed to make sure you understand what is going on. Her and her staff are there for the patients. They are all VERY respectful, kind and caring. Dr. Nijhawan IS THE BEST bariactric surgeon around here. 5 star for her is underrated she deserves a 10 +STAR !!!!
5 Stars for Dr. Nijhawan simply isn't enough to describe her and her Staff. She is a remarkable Surgeon with deep compassion and care for her Patients. She explains everything in detail and leaves no stone unturned. I would recommend her to anyone that needs a Surgeon. I had Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy Surgery on Feb 2 2017. Don't drive to Pittsburgh or Cleveland, Trust me, Let her be your Surgeon, You wont regret it! Her Staff is amazing, caring, and friendly.
Dr. Nijhawan is very knowledgeable and passionate about helping her patients. She takes as much time needed for your visit to answer any questions, explain your procedure and/or options, and make sure everything is understood. Even after office hours she is available and the staff urges you to call any time.

Dr. Nijhawan is a wonderful surgeon. I had Gastric Bypass surgery and through the entire process, she was very thorough and understanding. I've worked with her through my process for 18 months and it is always a pleasure to see her. I can't thank her enough for giving me another chance at life.
