If there was a minus 10 that’s what I would give for a recommendation. This doctor really should find another occupation. My mom was referred to him due to recent headaches. She had an MRI before seeing him. She wrote down several questions. He comes into the room and says you do not have an aneurysm but you had a lot of tiny tiny tiny strokes. Gets up and walks out. The worst experience I have ever had. Dixit & his staff are useless. Complete waste of 3 visits with not 1 thing accomplished. He can't read MRIs & relies on tech rpt. I have had MS for over 30 years & have seen many neurologists & this man is completely incompetent. He won't help you nor will he remember you. His LPNs seem to leave regularly and the office will not tell you, instead calling to cancel and telling you to call back in a couple weeks to reschedule. You will do this over and over before you find out they can not schedule you because that person left. They put you in an endless loop when you call, picking up and saying can you hold but never waiting for a response before putting you on hold. Then they pick up and do it over and over again. I agree, he is awful. I called his office due to my reaction to the prescription I was having and his office told me to call my primary doctor. He will only spend 15 minutes with each patient and NO longer. I also have trouble filling all my prescriptions, my insurance will fax them for additional info. and they DO NOT respond. I receive letters from my insurance co. that thir office has not responded to their request for additional info. so my prescription gets declined. I had an appointment for 1:30 PM. I arrived at 1:15 PM. I waited over an hour and they started to take patients that arrived much later than I did. That's unacceptable. I'm about to look for another doctor if that's how they schedule appointments!
Dr. Dixit is an adequate physician, the low score is for his front office staff. They are rude and disrespectful including the office manager. We had an appointment scheduled three months out and the called two days before and cancelled it because the insurance was no longer effective. We had an insurance change, not that they bothered to ask...just cancelled the appointment. Then they called back and attempted to cancel it again bc they wanted a new referral letter from the PCP. Had an appointment made several months ago and arrived a bit early for the appointment. After being told to have a seat, then called back to the window, we were told that we had to reschedule because the doctor was not in today. The staff indicated that their records show that we were called to re-schedule. I told them we retrieved all our messages and there was nothing from their office (other than an automated reminder of the appointment). I tried to schedule an appointment to discuss the potentially serious side effects I was having to my medication. The soonest I could get an appointment was a month out. Fortunately my primary doctor was able to see me and deal with the severe shortness of breath.
