Dr. Dixit provided me with a diagnosis that 3 previous doctors and 4 years of seeking treatment couldn’t give me. He gets my vote!!!
I’m sorry to see some bad reviews because that was not my experience. I liked Dr Dixit and all staff that I encountered. All seemed helpful. Hopefully that will not change.
Dr. Dixit was rude, condescending, and dismissive. I went to see him for semi-facial spasms which are mild not severe. He told me he didn't see anything wrong with me. When he began speaking to me in a very rude manner and raising his voice my stress level went up and my eye began to spasm. He then acknowledged seeing this but told me the treatment would cost several hundred dollars more than I paid in CA. He was concerned about my weight loss due to metastatic cancer. He reviewed ALL meds, was very thorough with his questions and answers. It was an EXTREME PLEASURE TO BE BACK IN HIS CARE!!
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Dixit for over three(3) years. He has always been very respectful and caring. He took the time to explain everything about the procedures and treatment I would receive. The only thing I would change would be to be able to have morning appointments for my migraines.
1) His PA is clueless she on numerous occasions have asked us about our pharmacy we have told her on several occasions which pharmacy we prefer to use. 2) Dixit's PA has consistently sent our prescriptions to (their ) preferred choice of pharmacy (which is too far for us to drive) we have gone in there in person and told them to please send prescriptions to our pharmacy (They have all of this noted (so they say) in our charts. 3) When checking out they set a return appt so when we came for our appt this morning we waited ove... read more
Staff is overworked, underpaid and certainly not trained or capable. Too many mistakes.
For every reason imaginable avoid treatment with Dr Dixit - hands off and distracted doctor who provides little to no care; you see the doctor only once; follow up nursing staff is incompetent in providing treatment; rude front desk staff; impossibility of obtaining medical records; and extremely overbooked appointments. I took my 75 year old mother to this neurologist. Every minute of every appointment was a frustrating waste of time. Don’t make my mistake.
I went to dr dixit for a bad fall I had and was knocked unconscious. The intern examined me and dr dixit came in for less than a minute. He then allocated me to his PA who I kept seeing. All she does is write prescriptions. She is nice enough but the headaches are contagious and debilitating. She said nothing is wrong. Just because tests show nothing doesn’t mean these headaches don’t exist. Trying to get insurance to let me have a 2nd opinion. Front office staff are awful. Wait times long.
