I visited Dr. Kachar for knee pain.!
I had been suffering for 10 years with leg hip pain. The source was not obvious to me and within that timeframe became so bad I couldn't walk without limping. It was debilitating chronic pain that I thought eventually would take away my ability to walk altogether. Could not be happier Dr. Kachar was recommended to me. From the 1st visit thru a knee replacement to the follow up appointments, Dr. Kachar and his entire team were and are outstanding. All appointments, scheduling and medications were well planned and made available as needed. Along with the entire staff at Northwest Community Hospital and surgical team, my procedure went a whole lot better than I ever expected. Had a great experience with Dr. Kachar! He was always very friendly! He also took the time to explain how he was going to do my knee replacement surgery. I never felt like my appointment was rushed. Most importantly it’s been 3 weeks after my surgery and I feel great! Thank you Dr. Kachar!!!
Recent hip replacement with Dr. Kachar . In addition to his professionalism I also wish to commend all of his staff that always followed-up in a timely fashion. Surgery and recovery were seamless. Morning surgery and back home that same afternoon. No infection, no problems. Minimally invasive surgery for a right hip in which the upper femur was basically totally deteriorated. Dr. Kachar helped me through two major surgeries to replace full joints, one of which was almost a reconstruction. He is very skilled and made me feel comfortable about each procedure. I trust him wholeheartedly to not only help fix my ailments, but to share his honest opinion about what needs to be done- not just try to put a proverbial bandaid over it to cover the issue. Six weeks post-op knee replacement and couldn’t be happier with the results. Everyone I’ve seen cannot believe how well I’m doing. My range of motion is already at 124 degrees. I’m looking forward to all the activities I could not do for years. If you need knee replacement, don’t put it off!
I fractured my tibial plateau in the summer of 2018, Dr. Kachar performed my surgery, and was absolutely wonderful to work with. I had already been turned away by two other orthopedic surgeons, who didn't want to do the surgery due to the complicated nature of my break. Dr. Kachar performed knee revision surgery on my left knee, and I couldn't be more pleased. He is an excellent surgeon, and I felt very confident in his care. His support and office staff are very pleasant to work with. Dr. Kachar has my highest recommendation. Also, I went to Northwest Rehabilitation and was very happy with the rehab team...special thanks to Matt and Hazel.
