Had a hip replacement in 2021 and a knee replacement in 2022. Everything from the doctor to his staff to the hospital personnel to the physical therapists. All well planned and seamless. Doctor K. great at explaining what will be happening for you. Progress was better than expected and so glad that I chose him to perform these surgeries.
Dr. Kachar is the best Dr. for knee replacement. He did everything he promised and more. Have have had knee that should been done 5 years. But everything seemed to get my way. I had stroke 5 months ago This made me look at my life. They PT said a go see Dr. Kachar. He worked with my doctors, blood thinners and every thing that goes with a stroke . Not only did Dr. Kachar do an outstanding job of letting me know what to expect with my knee replacement, but he is the only surgeon I have ever worked with (and I've had eight surgeries in my adulthood!) who was kind and thoughtful. He even credited me partially for my rapid recovery which is a rarity among surgeons. He cared about how the knee works and even how to keep my scarring to a minimum. Dr Kachar and his staff provided extraordinary care from the beginning of diagnosis and through 2 knee replacement surgeries. Any questions or concerns that came up were always quickly addressed. The replacement procedure that Dr Kachar performed enabled me to go home the same day and the pain while recuperating at home was minimal and definitely manageable. I could not be happier with the care and professionalism from his practice.
Friendly knowledgeable explain things
After several months of seeing an initial D.O. with NO resolution, we contacted Dr. Kachar. What a life changer for us! Our son with Down syndrome was having knee issues for several months and immediately after seeing Dr. Kachar for the first time, he performed the necessary arthroscopy that was needed- two days later!! I have a son with special needs with displaced patella on both knees. Dr Kachar has performed surgery 2 times, one on each knee, to treat torn meniscus each time. My son was walking after surgery, had minimum pain in recovering and the incisions were minimal. He and his medical sect. I had hip replacement with Dr. Kachar and all turned out great. He answered my questions in every visit, was nice to deal with, had really nice helpful staff. I had no complications and felt he did a really good job on my surgery. He cares about people and being thorough. I would definitely recommend.
