I had seen up to 5 doctors that just didn't listen to me. Then I found Dr. Kachar. He is a wonderful surgeon ! He went into great detail to let me know how my right hip would be replaced, and what to expect. Dr. Kachar doesn't hear you - he listens to you, and takes great care in helping his patients. The surgery went wonderfully, and then Dr. Kachar arranged for me to go to a rehab facilities which took great care of me. I will never change doctors !

Dr. Kachar was recommended to me by Dr. Tingle. When we exhausted all other treatment plans on my knee, Dr. Tingle said that only other option was knee replacement surgery. I was EXTREMELY nervous! I went to see Dr. Kachar and walked out of his office with both knee surgeries scheduled. He made me feel so comfortable about having it done. He explained everything in a way that I can understand and made sure that all the questions I had were answered before he left the room. Highly recommend

If you need a knee replacement do not hesitate to have Dr Kachar as your surgeon. He has an impressive bedside manner, listens, is very professional, answers all my questions (over & over again) & treats me like I am the most important patient he has. My L knee was replaced 11/2017 & R knee replaced 2/2018. Both knees are amazing, healing well & scars look great. His OR team at NCH was very professional, comforting & kind. Dr Kachar is an angel from heaven who performed miracles on my knees.

Dr. Kachar is my surgeon and Doctor for my knees. He is very friendly and very detailed. He asks lots of questions and great advice and is very good on follow up. His staff knows you by name and is also very friendly and helpful. The treatment he gave me for my knees has helped a great deal. A night and day difference.

Dr. Kachar has been an excellent doctor for me through a great deal of pain I’ve had in my knee. It was a torn meniscus and he held off on surgery as long as possible, but once it was time, he got it done with minimal pain. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I am feeling better than I have I years. Great bedside manner, good listener.

Dr. Kachar and everyone in his office are absolutely wonderful. When my 2yo son broke his leg, Dr. Kachar looked at the X-ray sent from the ER and offered to stay late to get him in and casted right away. I was completely frazzled, but Dr. Kachar helped calm my nerves and was so kind and gentle with my son. The receptionists, nurses, and X-ray techs at his office are also amazing - so professional yet friendly. I cannot recommend Dr. Kachar and his office enough!

I work at Northwest Community Hospital in ER and have known Dr Kachar for many years. He is kind, patient, knowledgeable and I feel comfortable with him. He takes the time to answer all of your questions. His nurse is also very helpful with whatever you need. I had a rt hip replacement on Sept 25th, 2017. I spent a few days in the hospital then went to the Lutheran Home in Arlington Hts for inpatient rehab for 10 days. Everything went smoothly. I got the best care you could possibly ask for.

Dr. Kachar did a knee replacement on my mother. She had a concern about being sedated under a general anesthesia. She is 81 yrs old. Her primary language is Spanish. Dr. Kachar was very patient and understanding. He made sure she understood everything that was going to happen. He gave her all the time in the world to come to a decision without any pressure whatsoever. He was able to do the surgery with a spinal. She was home in 2 days. Walking w/out cane in 4 weeks. Great recovery. Great staff!
