Dr. Kazi is the most helpful, considerate doctor I've ever visited with an excellent bedside manner. She listens intently to what I have to say and has diagnosed my illness and was right on target. She has taken her personal time to see me in urgent situations. I highly recommend the doctor and entire staff who are very proficient and skilled in their area of expertise.
I have been through many psychiatrists over the years and tried many medications and treatments. I can tell you with much experience that Dr. Kazi is one of the hard to find, really good psychiatrists. She listens to you and respects your thoughts and opinions. She is well informed on a lot of the newer things too. I went to her for TMS therapy which has helped a lot. Her staff are also very kind and caring. I'm staying with her for medication management and therapy. I'm happy I found Dr. Kazi!
I had a several visit with Dr. Seema, everything was great, the staff is so friendly.
I only met with Dr. Kazi once and my subsequent visits were with the nurse practitioner. My PCP discovered more medical conditions and told me I will be needing surgery and a liver biopsy. The meds she had me on have very strong warnings to discontinue use when liver issues are concerned and can complicate surgery. I needed off these meds. I left multiple messages and was told they would call me back, but no one did. I wouldn't trust them to be there in urgent circumstances or go back to them.
She has been very caring and approached my care with a gentle but educated approach. She is very intelligent and has answered all my questions and responded to concerns with genuine empathy.
To start if I take the time to find a doctor, especially a mental health provider I expect to see the Dr. and not the practitioner in training. It seemed like a bait and switch because I wasn't even notified that I wasn't seeing the Dr. Kazi until I arrived at my appointment. Second, not all mental health patients have history or problems with substance abuse, as in my case. The practitioner didn't even bother to ask or request my health records from my previous provider. Seeing Doctor Kazi for how many times makes me comfortable living the real real world. I highly recommend Doctor Kazi to my friends and family.
I would like to leave a review about my experience with Dr. Kazi; however her office will not return my calls. I called her office several times over a two week period and left messages each time. I gave her office my health insurance information and I'm still waiting for a call back. She may be a good doctor, but her office is terrible.
She is very compassionate, concerned and very thorough. I am so thankful to have stumbled into her office.
