Would leave no stars if possible. Worst doctor/office ever! Save your time and misery and go elsewhere. I was a patient for 6 years, but the place has gone TO CRAP in the last couple years. The staff is really young and a revolving door of them....also, you can tell they all hate each other and hate working there. You ask them all the same question, you will get a different response from all of them. When you need a form filled out, you wait 2+ weeks to get it back. When the nurses do call you back (not often) they are extre... read more
I have know Dr. King since he was a resident and he has been my kids ( use the term loosly since the oldest is 22 now) only doctor. He always takes the time to discuss issue and make sure you understand the diagnosis and or treatment. He has never dismissed concerns or questions. Our family love our doctor and his staff they are all wonderful people and always take care of us! That is why even though we moved an hour away we still go see our doctor, Dr. King.
Dr King is a little arrogant but knowlegable. However the problem is poor staff management & very poor communication. His staff is generally unfriendly. No niceties or courteous responses. His wife is the office manager who handles issues poorly, flies off the handle easily, takes offense quickly & acts as if the patient is unlearned (Samantha). No patient portals, no courtesy calls about scheduling appts. No communication. It all falls on the patient. Denies refills without communicating to the patient as to the reason why,... read more
It is not just one visit that this review is about. It is over several years. I can't tell you how many times the office staff forgot I was in the waiting room, or they sent the wrong prescription to the right pharmacy or the right prescription to the wrong pharmacy, to not calling with blood results to not returning calls in general. The doctor is not very thorough and was zero help in helping my particular situation.
Dr King does take the necessary time with you, doesn’t make you feel like he is running out of the room before you are finished. He and his staff are upbeat and pleasant. Feel very comfortable and confident with Dr King.
As a diabetic that has to go every 3 months he is the best doctor I have had.
Best doctor experience I've had in my 60 years. His entire staff is friendly and efficient. He spends time to explain certain conditions and makes certain you're taken care of. Most of all his bedside manner is awesome. You feel you're talking to a friend
it started out with a great experience, and slowly declined into a very frustrating and disappointing one. The nursing staff insists on coming in for everything whether it's even a refill for a medication that you've already been on for four years. After explaining that to his front desk they become rude and dismissive. What seem to be good help there is nothing more than an office trying to get every co-pay they can out of you while being rude in the process, very disappointing!
Very flippant approach... not taking patient concerns seriously, asked for diet meds and he said for me to go back to the office with rolls of couns in mu pockets. He sucks. Now I cannot get my neurontin refilled which was ordered less than one year ago. What kind of a patient advocate are you?
