As my first appointment with a Psychiatrist, I couldn't have been more nervous. But Dr. Hamdani listened and asked questions comfortably like a friend, not a "doctor". She provided feedback with none of the judgement I was afraid of from a psychiatrist. Most importantly, I walked out of my first appointment with a plan of action(that is Plan A, Plan B, and if that doesn't work Plan C) for treatment, that she involved my opinion in.
I really liked her, she was very understanding and listen to me and my concerns and helped come up with a plan to best fit what i was wanting. I was really comfortable opening up to her. she's really great.
I was very nervous about meeting a psychiatrist and trying medication. Dr. Hamdami was so kind and so approachable. She answered all my questions, listened to my concerns, and helped me find the right treatment quickly. I highly recommend her to anyone feeling apprehensive. She is patient, friendly, and serious about finding the right treatment for you. If the first medication isn't it, she'll help you with testing to see what will be effective. My life is way better thanks to her!
She is awesome. Such a breath of fresh psychiatric air. So down to earth.
Both of my children have seen Dr. Hamdani and we are always impressed with her friendliness, willingness to listen, and suggestions to try.
She was really kind and patient and explained everything I needed or wanted to know in a way that I could easily understand.
Dr. Hamdani explained thoroughly the extent of my condition and what the varied treatments entailed. She gave me the resources necessary to learn more about the possible treatments and who to reach concerning payment options. I was impressed with how well she listened to my concerns and was patient in explaining the answers. I did not feel rushed, and I felt she had enough experience and knowledge to reassure me that she could handle my treatment.
Dr. Hamdani is so personal. Right away I felt comfortable talking to her.
As someone who works in the mental health field, I very well know that psychiatric services and especially providers don't always go smoothly. I was nervous about starting up medications in general. Dr. Hamdani has blown me away. She is warm, empathetic, and competent. She took time to really understand my problems and what my best self would be. I have improved greatly under her care and am very thankful!
