This was my first surgery of any type...ever! Needless to say, I was extremely nervous on my first visit with Dr. Boostrom to discuss my diverticulitis issues. She did a great job of easing my anxieties and explaining the procedure I was about to have. She and her staff did a great job of taking care of me before, during and after my surgery! She's a excellent doctor and I would definitely (and already have) recommend her to anyone suffering with diverticulitis issues!
I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Boostrom. She explained the situation in a manor that I could understand that helped my make the best decision. You could easily tell she cares very much about her patients and their care. When you are dealing with cancer and the unknown, having a calm voice and caring attitude like Dr. Boostrom and her staff, goes a long way to helping you through this time.
She was very thorough in explaining my diagnosis and the procedures needed to rectify the condition. She performed surgery to remove a cancerous growth and followed up daily while I was recovering in the hospital. I was very satisfied with the services she performed and the staff that greeted me and helped me out each time I was in the office.
I feel I received the best care possible. My condition was much worse than expected when the surgical procedure began. I feel Dr. Boostram made the best decisions during surgery so that my life could return to normal. I am very grateful I had her as my physician.

At her core, Dr. Boostrom is a humble, kind, soft spoken introvert, but make no mistake, she is a relentless beast at doing her job well. Dr. Boostrom's office is dedicated to the patient experience which creates a safe place for patients to communicate, receive care, and obtain the best outcomes.
Takes time to listen, great staff, very knowledgable, and answered all questions in detail.
Very easy to talk to even with embarrassing problems.
I was invited to participate in a completely covered trial that would help with a problem, then billed twice for a surgery that I cancelled.
I found her to be an excellent listener as well as an excellent surgeon. Her PA and her office staff are also exceptional.
