I am a healthcare provider. Dr Hughes did laparoscopic surgery on me as I was a moderate risk for developing ovarian cancer. Findings on pathology showed pre-cancer. She has been nothing but available in this frightening time. Second opinion at Dana Farber obtained and same recommendations

good surgeon...for all else...i.e. explanations, pain long after/meds/follow-up blood work, simple conversations, be sure to double check the on-line information b/c more than likely ITS WRONG....go somewhere else if you can...save your sanity at least...
I have a Medical background. Dr. Hughes is careful, knowledgeable, thorough, and super positively upbeat. I definitely recommend her without any hesitation for any Gynecologic Oncology. She has a lot of energy and approachable!!
I am a 2-time cancer survivor who was diagnosed with a uterine growth recently. Not something a cancer survivor wants to hear! After unsuccessful surgery with my regular gynecologist, my oncologist referred me to Dr. Hughes. Her knowledge, positive energy and upbeat personality is just what someone like me needed after growing weary of my treatment options.
I met Dr. Sarah Hughes about 6 years ago - it was my lucky day. I find her extremely good at the job she's doing, She's also a doctor you looking forward to see, I love her sunny personality and her ability to calm your fears.
