Dr. McKee was fine. I left his office very pleased with the visit. However, I needed to get a copy of the office visit notes for insurance coverage and have still not been able to get it. I have not even been able to speak to anybody in the office yet. After 4 or 5 attempts, the probability of ever getting the information is not very likely anymore. A doctor and his or her office must be a team in order to be effective. In this case the patient loses instead of the team.
Good doctor. Terrible staff. Very hard to talk with anyone. Nobody returns your calls.
Dr. McKee is very knowledgeable and takes the time to teach you about your conditions. He has a very soothing personality and a good sense of humor. He’s very caring about your whole self, not just the problem at hand, and is truly compassionate. I couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of my health.
My husband & I moved here in Oct. & began seeing Dr. McKee. I would say "he's a nice doctor"& gives you plenty of time, but he only takes sparce notes & either he or his staff fail 2 follow through on the issues discussed. When you call, you most always get a recording. You leave a message, & your call is not returned ; so you call again & again- Finally after leaving multiple messages, someone may call back. Friendly and knowledgeable doctor with an unconcerned staff. Write an email, leave a message, and it goes into a black hole. They rarely call back, and always want to set up another appointment even if you just want a prescription refilled or have a question. I was told "Dr. McKee does not talk to patients on the telephone." You have to go through two sets of recorded messages just to leave a message, and you never know if it got through or not because they don't call back. Dr. McKee over-prescribes benzos with a remarkable regularity. I should have sought a second opinion ten years ago. Now I am battling a xanax addiction because a drug that should have been prescribed for less than six weeks, he regularly refilled for me every three months. Perhaps twenty years ago, this physician was current on psychopharmacology but he has fallen woefully behind. I regret the day I first came into his office and will never again recommend him. Greatest bedside manner of any physician I’ve ever had. Feels like sitting down to discuss your health with a trusted friend or family member.
Love the PA Chris, very happy with the care! Just wish the practice administration was patient centric. Not talking about staff, they are great. Plan on always getting a recorded Voice Mail system, leaving a message, and hoping your request is handled. If you're not available when they return a call. Repeat. Makes me feel like cattle being herded through.
Great doctor been going to him since 2014 I wouldn’t trust nobody else but him with my healthcare needs great bedside manner was there when my mom passed
