I started going to see Dr. Hassan for depression during my divorce and custody battle. She was kind, attentive and helpful. It was easy to make an appointment, I never wait more than a few minutes, and I feel like she really listens to what I have to say. I haven't had any issues with her or Max Psychiatry and the entire staff gets an A+ from me.
Highly recommend! I've struggled my whole life with anxiety, depression, drug and alcohol addiction. I've seen dozens of doctors throughout the years and it just got worse when prescribed medication with no real follow up. I thought I was going to be a prisoner inside my own head for the rest of my life until Dr. Hasan. I have been seeing her for over 2 years now and I can't believe I can live a normal, happy, healthy life and still feel like the true me that has been locked up inside.
She has taken care of my daughter and I since my last psychiatric doctor stopped taking my insurance. I never have to wait more than 10-15 minutes is the waiting room to see her.
Dr. Hasan helped me move past a period of crippling depression and intense ADHD. She's to the point, and knows what she is talking about. She's very compassionate, but she will call you on your excuses/crutches, which is something I really needed. Seeing Dr. Hasan feels like seeing a normal doctor who is helping you with a physiological problem. She never made me feel crazy or broken, she just listened to me, made a diagnosis and treatment plan, and consistently followed up.
Had a horrible experience with Dr. Hasan when I came in for help. I was charged about $250 for the initial appt where she made me take my own blood pressure then refused to prescribe medicine because it was elevated. Even after I agreed to have my BP verified by a GP, she said I would have to wait for another open appt time and pay an additional $125-150 to actually obtain a prescription. She was also very rude and disrespectful when I questioned her in a respectful manner. A total ripoff!!
Dr. Hassn has done a wonderful job adjusting my wife's medication so as to eliminate the highs and lows of mental instability. A real plus for her is she is not a pill pusher. Doing routine excersize and managing the diet will make her very happy.
AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!First time going to a psychiatrist. She wouldn't let me speak, cut me off when I was trying to give her quick outline of why I was there. Showed her my medical history , because there are certain medications I can't take because I would have a reaction. She didn't even look at them. It was only 5 pages or less. She just dismissed me and anything I had to say. The WORST part was she prescribed a medication that would give me blood clots!!!!!! After I tried to sh
Dr Hasan misdiagnosed me with having Biopolar II when in fact I have anxiety (proven by a psych test given by a new Dr). She put me on Lamictal which caused me to attempt suicide. I've NEVER had suicidal thoughts or an attempt. When I told her about it, her attitude & reaction was horrifying. Non-companionate, blunt & INSISTED it had nothing to do w/the medicine & her misdiagnosis. She should not have a license to practice. She is dangerous & careless. Do not trust your health & life to her.
I saw Dr. Hasan when I was in pretty bad shape with no hopes of getting better in a short time. Dr. Hasan managed my medication with confidence and courage. I was functional again in three weeks. When I had my difficult times, I sent her e-mails describing my state. She responded to them promptly and scheduled a visit when necessary. I trust her with my care. This is the most important component for me and it is closely tied to my well-being.
