Dr. Hasan was not professional. She rushes her interview then quickly prescribes medication without thorough knowledge. I asked specifically if the medication had a Class Action suit against it. She said no. I got the medication only to research it myself and found it WAS the one with a Class Action lawsuit...it causes OCD. Further, she has a massive attitude if you want to speak to her briefly on the phone. Only called once. Rude office staff. Go elsewhere. Too many issues here.
After being presribed various SSRI antidepressants by various pychiatrists since the early 90s, and after never really being completely satisfied with the results, Dr Hasan had me try Effexor, which is a combination SSRI and SNRI. Within a few weeks I finally felt like I always thought I should. Thank you!
I love Dr. Hasan. She's straight to the point and actually listens when you talk and adjusts medication accordingly. This is the first time in the past six years where my doctor has actually listened to me. I've been seeing different doctors for six years and this is the first time where I feel like I've finally got the right medications and the right dosage.

I was very much in need of someone to help me take back control of my anxiety, and Dr. Hasan has helped me tremendously with this! I travel about two hours to Apex to see her and will continue to do so, knowing my concerns are not dismissed and I can trust her to do well by me every time.
Dr. Hasan has been absolutely wonderful. She has been the ONLY psychiatric doctor to correctly address all of my issues and concerns and offer correct treatment in the more than 20 years of my mental illness battle. I recommend her to anyone having issues and seeking help.
Dr.Hasan has been my psychiatrist for over 6 years.I find her compassionate as well as competent. If you need medication as part of your treatment p)an for your mental issues then Dr Hasan is a very good choice because she is up to date on all the medications out there for treating mental issues such as mind biplarism. I feel very comfortable recommending her as a grade A Doctor!
I ended up seeing Dr. Saman Hasan because her office got back to me the quickest and scheduled an appointment with me in less than a week. I needed something for anxiety right away, it was affecting my work and my life. During the appointment Dr Hasan wasn't interested in listening to my specific situation. Nor does she care to justify her prescriptions. She gets very defensive when you question her recommendations. She churns through clients very quickly. Do not recommend.
Hesitant after reading her reviews I decided to go ahead with my appt.. She has a demeaning sense about her which makes you feel stupid for asking questions. Asked if I exercised & I told her "walking"...she said "walking is for 80 year olds." Her scale reads 16 lbs lighter than other scales. I brought this to her attention & she told me that her scale is right. After my appt I got on two other scales in other locations & I weighed exactly 16 pounds more. Her bedside manner is poor.
