Personally Dr. Carvajal is one of the best doctors I ever had, he found in no time the reason of my disconfort and pain -that is knowledge and expierience- what any other doctor couldn't found in 4 years! I know the waiting on his office is long, but he is a doctor, and a really good one, so I measure him from results and not for the time I wait. I concur that he overbooks and was late for every appointment, 45 min or so. He like every surgeon I've encounted want to cut that's what they do. I had an umbilical hernia and knew it before I met with him. He like all surgeons I've met seemed in a hurry to get out of the room and go on to the next patient, maximizing profits. Knowing this I had all my questions written down and went through all of them with him, I suggest you do the same with any doctor. His staff is VERY RUDE especially 'Maria' . Dr doesn't know what hes doing, all he wants to do is diagnos you a major disease to operate on you and get money. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HIM
I think like every doctor, he had his pros and cons. His staff and punctuality were not on point. His staff was ignorant and annoying and he came in like an hour and a half after schedule for me. Although, what truly matters is his knowledge and his helpfulness. I had severe appendicitis and through a small incision in my belly button he took out my appendix and saved my life in a mere 15 minutes. He was very well educated and knew what he was doing. Dr. Carvajal is a very skilled and competent surgeon. I have, at three separate occasions over the course of 4 months, had to undergo surgery with Dr. Carvajal. I first met him when I found a breast lump. I'm a cancer survivor, so my concern was great. His bedside manner was kind, and caring. His knowledge is incredible. He was able to remove the mass in his office. A couple weeks later I had to have an emergency gallbladder removal. This doctor, after a 2 minute examination, prescribed surgery. We were confused and saw 3 other surgeons, all of whom said a surgery was not necessary at all. Be careful if this doctor tells you you need surgery and seek other opinions.
DR CARVAJAL IS A HEARTLESS DR WHO GIVES YOU NO HOPE AT ALL HAS NO COMPASSION OR FEELINGS FOR OTHERS. HAS NO SYMPATHY WHAT SO EVER. HE TOLD US THAT A FAMILY MEMBER OF MINE HAS LESS THEN 6 MONTHS TO LIVE AND THAT PERSON IS ALIVE 5 YEARS LATER. I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR HIM AND WOULDNT RECCOMEND HIM TO ANYONE.
doctor spend 2 min with patient.very irresponsible office staff,delayed medical urgent treatment for more then 10 days,staff office didn't call you back,and was totaly ignorant to the calls.
He is both unprofessional and very condescending in addressing his clients. He is a horrible example for the medial community.
