I found Dr. Upon to be very straight forward who does not sugar coat or tell you what you want to hear. This is what you have and this is why your in discomfort. My family had more interaction with Dr. Yoon not because he did not care it was the hospital practice to make you comfortable before the operation and I do not remember very much once I was in the prep area.
Dr YOON is a very professional and caring doctor. He has the greatest concern for his patients. I would and have recommended Dr YOON to friends.
This is my third fusion surgery with Dr. Yoon. He is very knowlegable, patient, and has an excellent bedside manner.

Dr. Yoon is one of the most thorough and compassionate surgeons that I have ever met. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes adequate time in assessing the most effective form of treatment. We drove six hours to see Dr. Yoon, and it was worth every minute. The staff at Emory is top notch...you will not find better patient care.

I am a 63 years old healthy woman who was experiencing excruciating pain radiating from my buttocks down both of my legs that got worst if I coughed or sneezed. My feet were also numb. He is a kind and patient doctor and according to my research and experience, the one of the absolute best surgeons in his field. My surgery was 100% successful..
