Had a severe allergic reaction as a kid and he told me I was being dramatic. The allergist was appalled, put me in the ER, and I didn’t leave for two weeks. I’ve got lifelong damage because of you and you should be ashamed.

In the past, this doctor chose to dismiss my mother's very legitimate concerns all but screaming, "I can't keep having discussions regarding baby sleep habits with mothers!" She chose to transfer all of her kids to care elsewhere, a decision I am still thankful for.

We have raised our children with Dr. McDonald as our pediatrician over the past 28 years. He has been a good friend and an excellent doctor throughout the years. He is very experienced and someone you can trust and count on to always be there for your family. He is an excellent diagnostician and caught early on a fairly serious medial issue with one of our children and was able to put us at ease and guide us in the right direction. His staff is friendly and the practice is clean and they respond to the many shot records etc.... read more

Selecting Dr. McDonald for my newborn son 23 years ago was one of the best choices I have ever made. He is a phenomenal, knowledgeable, kind and caring physician. He has exceeded my expectations for caring for my son and I am forever grateful for each and every visit, diagnosis, and medication prescribed. My son is still having a hard time leaving Dr. McDonald behind as and adult now. I hope that my grandchildren will be patients as well.

I have been Dr. McDonald's patient for nearly two decades. Since I was an infant up until my now early adulthood, he has been my pediatrician and now primary care physician. Dr. McDonald has taken excellent care of me throughout my life, so much so that I have found it difficult searching for a new general practitioner as I have outgrown the age for seeing a pediatrician. He has been exceedingly friendly and incredibly professional during my time with him and I am incredibly grateful my parents choose him as my pediatrician.... read more

17 years ago we fired Dr. McDonald because of his demeanor, actions and missed evaluation of a fairly serious issue with our first-born son. 17 years later, we still run into families that had the same experience and worse. If you are experiencing that gut feel that things are not quite right with this man, I can promise you that your gut is right. 17 years later, I advise you to exit immediately and find a Doctor you can trust. I was charged for something during a well visit that the nurse said was part of the visit. I called and told them that the procedure didn’t even work and they would not take the charge off.

Like my 10 yr old daughter says: 'my doctor rocks!!!' She has been her patient for 4 years. We are extremely pleased with him and his staff. He is one of the few doctors in town that cares deeply about his little people. He makes time and makes them feel at ease.

I am having a hard time reading some of these reviews. We have used Dr McDonald for 7 years and he and his office staff have been wonderful, caring and knowledgeable! He is very thorough yet also experienced in dealing with first time, nervous parents. His walk-in clinic for sick patients is a plus! I would recommend him to any parent!
