I saw Dr. Kitchens inpatient for a stent placement. Dr. Kitchens was nice, explained the procedure and followed-up with me before the end of the day. When I visited her office a couple days later for the stent to be removed I had the worst experience with her nurse. She completely devalued my fear that it would be painful and belittled me until I literally took the stent out myself! I mentioned it to the doctor afterwards but she didn't care. It was an awful experience, but seeing the doctor in the hospital was great care.

Dr Kitchens has been one of my main care team several years now. She always treats me with the utmost kindness and respect and does her utmost to give me the best advice and care.Update : Saw Dr Kitchens again for semi annual checkup. As usual very thorough with checkup, blood tests and explanation of results. After all these years she is keeping up with my treatment and is concerned with my future welfare. She is a fine doctor and person.
