Dr. Ross Sherban is very professional about his work and will sit down to explain every step and detail in what to expect prior to surgery. I would recommend this doctor.
Permanently Damaged!!
My husband had 3 surgeries with Dr. Sherban in Buffalo NY at Sherban Orthopedics. two in 2016 and one in 2017. My husband loved this doctor until recently and I will explain why. Recently he has been having major back issues and Dr Sherban moved his practice to Florida, 10 offices to be exact. Tried to charge seventy thousand dollars for one round of injections ,then lowered it to twenty eight thousand ,seems high to me
I'm now handicapped, have to use a walker, and can't do stairs. I have not had one day without spine pain since he did my surgery. For some reason, he went into my side twice when he should have only gone once to remove the old disks. 3 wks later I went back for part 2 of the surgery where he puts in the new disks by incisions in the back, not the side. A DO doctor receives additional training. They are higher than an MD?
After a MVA, I selected Dr. Sherban who convinced me surgery of my L4/5 discs was my only option. I'm still in a great deal of pain four & a half years later. Now I'm told there are additional herniated discs and I never healed fully from the surgery. I was receiving epidural injections prior to surgery, and continue to receive them. Dr. Sherban has left the area, along with his associate. Epidural injections are no longer available through his office. Not an M.D. . Lies about his degree He is a D.O. which is fine, but puts MD after his name which is wrong Surgery happy
I was operated on a year ago and am still in pain, but I don't think it has anything to do with Dr. Sherban's skills. He is the best. I think I was too old for the surgery. I was a healthy, robust 74 and now I'm weak, in pain and can't do a thing. He has sent me to pain management because since the surgery two more discs have bulged. It isn't his fault if the person is old and the bones are brittle. I am in pain and miserable, but I don't blame the surgeon.
