I went to Dr. Hollis because of the excellent work he had done on both of my humerus bones from falls during runs. This time I had tweaked my knee and needed to know its severity. Dr. Hollis and his PA took a lot of time with me and let me explain not only what happened but exactly where the pain was. They explained what they thought they saw at this point and suggested we study at a bit further. I had a complete ACL tear and a partial MCL tear. Dr. Hollis didn't warn me of any complications that could ensue, and I ended up with DVT and PE. He kept saying we'll just wait and see whether PT allows me to get back to skiing and competitive running (even though my physical therapist said that is silly I can't do those things without surgery). great guy, trust his instincts and suggestions. gives you options explains his findings in laymen’s terms, down to earth. previously did a fantastic job on left and right shoulder replacements! got full use of both shoulders back!
Dr Hollis is skilled AND personable. Never rushed. Highly recommend. He’s done one shoulder repair and two knee replacements on me.

My appointment was scheduled within a few days of my request, even though I was a new patient. Dr. Hollis and his team were professional and the care exceptional. I’m a healthy, active senior and plan to stay that way - with the help of Dr. Hollis as one of my physicians. High recommend.
Dr Hollis has provided orthopaedic care for me since 2014. He has given appropriate treatment to keep me active and as pain free as possible, from examinations, to injections, to recently performing bilateral total knee replacement surgery 4 months apart. Not only is he knowledgeable and caring but is easy to speak with and is genuinely interested in people and helping them to be as physically active as they want to be.
I saw Dr Hollis and PA Sara yesterday for problems with my knee. After offering options of care I chose an injection to my knee. I can now walk without pain and use stairs without problem. I am so thankful for their expertise and care. I highly recommend and already recommended to a friend with shoulder issues.
