I’d like Dr. Hollis’s conservative approach. I don’t want to rush into surgery, and felt very comfortable with the more conservative approach.
Did both my ACL and knee replacement, super nice, very attentive to needs, explains things wel and for me great outcomes, in 3 weeks walking independently, great surgeon and better person. Would highly recommend. As a healthcare provider myself, I highly recommend.
He took the time to listened to my problems and recommended what I needed at the time. He made me feel very comfortable. Very personable.

Professional fast and friendly appointment
It was my first visit at Colorado Orthopedics and it was a great experience, Dr. Hollis is both caring and knowledgeable.
Dr Hollis Jr has the ability to immediately make you comfortable. I have a anxiety disorder and he helped me to be calm and answered all of my questions in a reassuring manner. He took his time to get all of my fears laid to rest. He gave me an injection in my knee, which was professionally done in an area of my knee which reduced the amount of pain that I have felt from other doctors injections. I will be having a knee replacement soon with Dr Hollis Jr. I heartily recommend Dr Hollis Jr!!
Very personable doctor, listened to my complaints and addressed them ! Finally a doctor that didn’t just shrug off my pain! Very informative, explained everything in great detail. Very very pleased with my visit! Felt very comfortable with the decisions and suggestions!
After suffering from badly arthritic shoulders for 35 years, I could no longer tolerate the pain. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr. Hollis! After innovative and caring surgery for the two most worn shoulders he has seen, my recovery has amazed me. There was minimal pain-from the day of surgery on, quick recovery with easily managed rehab (less than 3 months between surgeries with pain free and almost complete use of the first replacement). He's an exceptional surgeon and a great person.
