My one breast is like a water balloon the other is floppy very embarrassing I can't believe I paid for this it's horrible and he sewed my one nipple up so it looks like it doesn't have a bottom half

Business response:

I don't know who you are. As explained before surgery, my revision rate after breast lift with implants is approximately 5%. The usual reasons for revision are breast asymmetry or scarring. My office policy is to continue to perform revisional surgery until satisfaction has been achieved without additional professional fees. Please schedule a postoperative appointment at your convenience.

I had breast implants done over 23 years ago when he was at the UW-Madison. They have been wonderful and Dr. Mixter has always been there for me with my questions. Other doctors have also commented over the years what a wonderful job was done.

had augmentation done 8 years ago by him. at the time, one of my breasts pointed off to the side and was higher than the other. it is also noticibly rippled. my breasts are so lopsided and crooked, i cant wear a bikini. dr mixter told me there was nothing that could be done and it was my body rejecting the implant. just had a consultation with a different doctor that laughed outloud at that response. she told me it looked like he just jammed the one implant in and left the room.

I had a breast reduction, tummy tuck, liposuction on my sides.the outcome of the surgery was not as expected. Post surgery Dr.Mixter, advised that additional procedure would be needed to get the results previously promised. What he didn't say prior too was that I would have to pay for the procedure a second time and I should consider to loose weight.

Business response:

I don't know who you are. Managing expectations in full-figured patients (BMI greater than 30) is challenging because because body contouring surgery can make such patients more proportionate but not thin. My office policy is to perform revisional surgery without additional professional fees. I would be happy to reevaluate your result at anytime. Please call for an appointment at your convenience.

Dr. Mixter performed mine along with 6 other girls I knew breast augmentation and did a fantastic job with all of us. I have moved out of state since then but will always only go to him for any procedure I end up wanting. There are two sides to every story and I recommend you remember that every situation is different. Medicine is not perfet and individual results vary depending upon your body and situation. I LOVE Dr. Mixter and all of his staff :)

I went to this Dr. for pec implants. Wish I were more knowledgeable at the time! Dr. Mixter showed me 2 implants of very different shapes, and asked me to pick one. Ignorantly, I thought the big ones, hoping for a better effect–he agreed they would "do more for me". When I woke up after surgery, they looked like they were UPSIDE DOWN with huge cleavage between them. I told the nurse this, and by the look on her face, I could see she agreed with me. The area on the bottom (where they should have been the fullest) was sunken. H... read more
