I went to see Dr. Mixter April, 2017 looking for options, hope, and support. Instead I left feeling defeated and duped. Not only do they quote you an absurd lie to get you in the door, but from the minute we met he was condescending and judgemental and did not listen at all! He dismissed me and said my weight was not due to my having an autoimmune thyroid disease. He very unprofessionally, and unethically, motioned to both elbows then to his mouth saying I overeat. I'm 5'4 and weight 170lbs. I've been working with an endocri... read more

Business response:

I don't know who you are but I apologize for offending you. Any discussion of abdominal fat reduction involves a weight loss discussion. Any discussion of weight loss involves a clear understanding of calories in and calories out. Frequently metabolic conditions such as yours make caloric intake and consumption more challenging. Again I apologize if you did not feel that I was sensitive to your own particular situation. As far as the cost of procedures, cutting edge technology is very expensive. In this case the cost of Scul... read more

I am a 45-year-old female who had Blepharoplasty surgery performed by Dr. Roger Mixter in late December of 2016. I had broken my cheek bone when I was 19 years old and the surgeon at the time warned me that I would need revision surgery when I got older because the left eye would eventually sag lower and would not be asymmetrical with my right eye. The term used was ‘Boxer’s eye’ (think Rocky). He was correct, as I aged, my left eye did indeed sag. To remedy this condition, I interviewed several renowned surgeons for consult... read more

The entire staff was helpful leading up to my surgery and after. Appointments were timely, no waiting. The facility is well kept and appealing. I highly recommend Dr. Mixter if you are considering a breast augmentation.

I received breast augmentation three weeks ago and it went exactly as I expected with minimal incisions and with the help of excellent staff and communication. I am very happy with the work and feel the surgery was done perfectly to my expectations. Dr. Mixter is an immensely skilled surgeon, I feel lucky to have found him. Along with his staff I believe they are truly the best in the area. If you are looking to have any kind of procedure done I would certainly recommend at least making a free consultation with Dr. Mixter. T... read more

Dr. Mixter is truly a beautiful person and an amazing surgeon. Everyone compliments me on the work he has done. Breast implants and tummy tuck. There are no scars from either procedure. Dr. Mixter and his staff have become part of my family.

I had nothing but a wonderful experience. The staff was wonderful from the time I walked in until I left. I live out of town and the staff was kind enough to set up the reservation (special discount rates) for a suite at a nearby hotel. The surgery went well. I had a mini facelift and breast augmentation and was amazed how well I felt post surgery. They used IV sedation and I think this was the main reason i felt good and was able to leave after just a few short hours even though they told me I could stay as long as I wanted... read more

Nice enough doctor but sloppy work, had to go to another doctor to fix his work as I would not trust his end results. Lacks perfection in his skill set in my personal opinion. Plus the rooms look dated and dingy which gave me a bad feeling from the start.

Business response:

At this time, I do not know who you may be. Certainly customer service and an excellent result are of utmost importance in my practice. Some patients may experience excessive scarring due to genetics, infection, or compliance with postoperative care. Occasionally, unsatisfactory scars do occur, and my policy is to revise them at no charge. Please call us so that we can discuss your concerns. I would be happy to see you at any time in our new Brookfield office.

I have had both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures by Dr. Mixter over the years. He is an incredibly talented thoughtful patient man and has a great bedside manner. He took his time in explaining what to expect, his manner is such that I felt I was the only person he was concerned about, always putting me at ease. I feel very fortunate to have him as my surgeon. I highly recommend him, and trust his skill and expertise in all areas of plastic surgery.
