I just had gynecomastia surgery and I had it pretty severely. Dr. Mixter got rid of all of it. He treated me very well. Would definitely recommend this doctor for gynecomastia.

I would highly recommend Dr Mixter if you are thinking about having a breast lift with augmentation. After discussing various surgical options at a complimentary consulatation, I felt Dr Mixter was both very knowledgable and experienced. He treated me with respect and made me feel confident that I would be in very good hands. The day of surgery, his professional nursing staff eased my fears and explained to me exactly what I was to expect. I'm just thrilled with my new look! Needless to say I can't say enough positive things... read more

Dr. Mixter had done my botox recently, I was very pleased and it was reasonably priced.

I had Jueviderm lip injections done last month by Dr. Mixter, what a horrible experience, along with a waste of $500! When it came time for injections Dr. Mixter was fumbling around drawers, trying to find which I'm assuming was the "right syringe". Once "found" he made his first injection which caused me to jump in extreme pain! ( this surprised me, I have a very high pain tolerance) he mad a total of 4 injections, two on top, two on bottom. Immediately after, I look in the mirror and my lips are uneven and filled into rand... read more

Business response:

I'm sorry that you feel this way. At this time, I do not know who you may be. Some basic facts to keep in mind are: 1) The lumps are very common with Juvederm, and every doctor will tell you that massaging them out is the best solution. 2) Permanent nerve damage is extremely rare, and I personally have never heard of it or seen it. I would like to do everything possible to address your concerns if you are willing to visit and speak with me. There are a few other reviews here that I'd like to address generally. As you may rem... read more

I have now had 2 Breast Augs by Dr. Mixter and both of them turned out AMAZING. He left me with perfect boobs and almost ZERO scars! I couldn't be happier with my results and would highly recommend him! He is the ONLY PS I would go to as I know I will receive the results I want, won't be left with scars and both times recovered super fast, easy and without complications! I tell everyone to go to him becuz I am confident that he will do a great job - just as he did on me! I see so many people on here posting negative comments... read more

Business response:

At this time I do not know who you may be, and I am sorry that you feel this way. Patient dissatisfaction is always distressing. Before any procedure, I discuss with every patient my agreement not to charge any further professional fees, if a revision is necessary. As far as insurance coverage goes for services, some portions of a procedure may be deemed medically necessary, and therefore, insurance will cover that portion, but perhaps not a procedure that is deemed cosmetic. I would like a chance to make this right for you.... read more

Had gynocomastia surgery. After 6 weeks, no different. Just big scars and inverted nipples. The problem was the way he choose to suck the fat out. He said he could get the “man boobs” smaller and correct the nipples, but it would be $4,000. This was on top of the $5,000 I has spent already.

I had my breasts done a couple of years ago and am very happy with the results. Dr. Mixter was very helpful answered all my questions and his staff was very friendly. I am actually going back to him for another procedure and he made sure that I was aware of what the results would be. I feel some people get plastic surgery for the wrong reasons and expect the results to be perfect. There is always a trade off whether it is a scar or whatever. In one of the previous comments some one said they had rippling, I find it hard to b... read more
