Dr. Hernando is ok, his office staff sucks. If you dont speak spanish BECAREFUL. I called speaking English asking to leave the Dr a message or talk to him cause I was having suicidal thoughts and the office staff put me on hold for over 15 min and never came back to the phone. Needless to say I have an appointment with another dr next week.

Saw him a while back and eventually switched doctors. I came in with a history of many years mental health issues and ready to tell my story. After explaining my life story, his first question to me was "how's your sex life?" Odd question as that was not the main concern I was there for. On my second appointment a few months later, his first question again was "how's your sex life?" He wasn't bad but failed to really get into my co-dependency and issues stemming from childhood. Wait is horrible!

If there could be a negative star I would have picked that one. I was in hospital he came once 10 min maximum. Then I asked the nurses daily at least 5 times for him to call or come by to see me. He did not respond. Then I tried calling office myself still no response. You think anyone would want a doctor like that? Maybe he is burnt out himself and needs to seek help out himself so he can become the doctor he wanted out to be.

I'm very shocked by some reviews left about Dr. Hernando. I've been seeing him for a while now and have had a great experience. His office is very nice and clean. The staff is also very helpful and professional. My visits with Dr. Hernando have been very positive. He spends time talking to me and listening to what I have to say. I have never felt rushed, and leave feeling that he is very interested in my treatment and what is best for me. Sometimes I've had to wait, but no more than 20 mins.

WARNING!! THIS DOCTOR IS A PATIENT MILL, not a service provider. IF YOU ARE DEALING WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES THIS IS NOT THE DOCTOR FOR YOU!!! There is a sign in the office stating you will wait up to 2 hours past your appointment and if not acceptable you have to reschedule and go through the wait again. Doesn't respond to emergency calls, is missing half of the time, his ethics is quantity of customers and not quality of care. Its safer to go to a hospital than to deal with him.

Waited 2 hours, after waiting 2 hours a lady came to the reception area which was full!!, and she asked who needed refills and who needed to stay to see the dr, due to any changes.... What a question!!!!. First why would someone disclose this information in a room full of people. ( instead she should have called each pt one by one HIPAA) rather she called each Pt by name and asked, in a room full of people, My son was so upset and left, in worse condition then when he got there. Disgusted!!!!
