Worst Dermatologist dermatologist I have ever been to. If you want to feel belittled then he’s the one for you. I have been receiving treatment for warts on my hand and I came in to get it re-evaluated by Dr. Albergo and he told me that there is no “magic” option and that they aren’t harmful just my boyfriend won’t want to touch me or hold my hand. I wish I had never been to Dr. Albergo's office. I took my 14 year old daughter to him to treat her two small warts on her elbow with squaric acid instead of freezing or cutting them, which is suppose to be painless. They did it incorrectly and her skin was basically melting off her arm. We went on vacation a few days after the treatment and I kept calling the office telling them how bad it was and they kept saying "the worse it looks the better its working". The worst doctor I have ever seen for treatment. He scientifically named my ailments, laughed and told me I was one Moon away from old age and was Sun-damaged. Dr Albergo made fun of me when I told him my family doctor suggested a biopsy. He said I can cut holes in your neck and have them tested if you want me too. Who says that to a patient! I have 3 ailments that should have been tested. He gave me none. He said to see a Cosmetic Laser Specialist. I will seek a 2nd opinion and get a lawyer.

Rating 4 - Dr. Albergo based on one office visit, level of trust, listened, explained medical condition well. Rating-0 for Advanced Dermatology Palm Harbor - Although, I felt confident with the Doctor, my experience and observation of the office staff during my visit was very concerning that there was no doubt I Would Not trust this office with my medical care. example... billing process, lack of communication, etc...

I have scheduled a "scar revision" procedure on 4/20 with a Plastic Surgeon because I went to Dr. Albergo's office for an infected bug bite. His associate thought it needed to be biopsied. It turned out to be an infected hair follicle which should have been obvious. Now I have an ugly deny in the front of the face. Dr. Albergo said it would "hardly be noticable in a year." That was 16 mo. ago. The Plastic Surgeon was somewhat surprised that a simple biopsy resulted in a very noticable flaw.

Dr Albergo gives you the feeling that you are wasting his time. I have Psoriasis and all he does is hand you a bunch of Drug Company brochures and tell you to do your research because they are all very expensive. I did my research and when I needed a prescription called into my Pharmacy the my insurance uses I had to return to the office ($50 co-pay) and argue with them to get the prescription called in. They are not a caring helpful office.

I highly recommend Dr. Albergo to anyone. He's a professional and I trust his decisions. Office staff are friendly and efficient and the office is very clean.
