Dr Titleman is not only a skilled surgeon but a caring, compassionate human being. He called me the evening ahead of surgery to be sure that I wasn't anxious because I still might have questions. He also called the evening of surgery to be sure I was home and check on pain level and any questions I might have. Dr. Titelman is not only a great orthopedic surgeon but also an excellent doctor with an awesome bedside manner. He’s performed 4 tendon reattachments for me, both AC joint expansions with arthritis and bone spur removal. These procedures also included various rotator cuff repairs. I’m a retired physician with 50 years of practice. I was referred to Dr. Titelman for shoulder surgery by other physicians and friends. It was so reassuring to see that some doctors still patiently take their time to listen to and explain in detail all the options available. After that first visit I had complete confidence in his knowledge and surgical skills. He was so knowledgeable about his field(shoulder).He listened to me and answered my many questions. I never felt rushed. He explained how the surgery would be done and what the recovery would be like. I would definitely recommend him!
Dr Titelman provides expert care with a good humored approach. He takes time to read patient medical history PRIOR to entering the exam room so that he is ready to go with focusing on your current orthopedic concern and not rehashing medical history. I really appreciated that he wrote down for me as we spoke possible diagnoses and his recommendations for treatment; so I wouldn’t forget. Exceptional!
Dr. Titelman reviewed my history ahead of my appointment. He was professional, thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of my and my husband’s questions. He provided all options and details.
I was referred to Dr. Titelman due to a torn rotator cuff. He reviewed my options and what to expect, answered my questions and I choose to do the replacement surgery. The surgery was performed and I am now in PT with improvement in use and movement of arm. Throughout he and his staff have been very caring and helpful. Dr. Titelman personally called me the evening before surgery to check on me and again after the surgery. Would highly recommend him for anyone needing shoulder surgery.
Although the clinic is very large, Dr. Titelman’s kind demeanor and patient attention felt very personalized. His staff are very nice as well. He diagnosed my shoulder issue and prescribed appropriate physical therapy after giving a steroid injection. There was no sense of rushing to surgery, although that was explained as a future possibility. To anyone seeking an expert yet kind orthopedist, I would highly recommend Dr. Titelman.
Incompetent staff. Waited over 2 hrs , only to find out the Doctor wasn’t even in the building . That was after we Finally walked out to the desk and asked. Second apt we waited 1 1/2. No apologies ever. Had to arrange for my own PT . Many more things that left us unsatisfied with service.
