We have both used Dr Royster for knee and hip replacements and other issue. Excellent service and results. Highly recommend.
Dr Royster is not only kind but very intelligent and explains your issues well. I saw him for knee pain. He thoroughly examined me and gave me exercises to stretch my tendon. I have so much respect him.
Have had pain for two years. Previously had only seen the PA. Told to work on hamstring flexibility. Did not suggest PT at that time. My GP suggested PT and see what they say before going back to orthopedist. PT loosened up the knee but pain remained. Dr. Royster decided the issue is Flexion Contracture with a posterior capsule issue. Specific exercises were given and additional time with the physical therapist. In a month, we’ll see if the pain in my knee has been alleviated.
Dr. Royster is not only extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about his specialty of Orthopedics, but also he is extremely kind, considerate and caring. I highly recommend him without any reservation.
Dr. Royster took the time to answer all my questions and explained things to me and gave me ideas to help me continue to improve. I really appreciated that. I will go back in three months to have injections in my knees again.
Dr. Royster carefully listened to my assessment of my response to past 3 months of PT, the current status of my arthritic left knee, and my desires for current treatment. He did a thorough exam of both knees & hips, then drained the left knee dry & injected steroids. We discussed that when steroid shots no longer help, a total knee replacement will be the only option. Dr. Royster is a caring person and professional physican. He listens and is very attentive as you explain problems related to your visit. He is very thorough and knowledgeable.
