Dr Orfaly refused to address sinovialy cysts that were forming in my knuckle joints so I found a dr that would treat them. Then when my rotator cuff was destroyed I was sent to Dr Orfaly by my primary care since they are jn OHSU. Dr. Orfaly is a fabulous surgeon! I had a terrible triad of the elbow injury and nine weeks after surgery I had nearly 100% mobility. Over twenty years ago he fixed a shattered humerus when anybody else would have put in a prosthesis. It too healed remarkably well. He talks to you like you have a brain and his PA Amy is superb. I highly recommend him.

After being told that I had to be accepted by Orfaly and waited over six weeks for my appointment he did not appear to know the complexity of my injury. After failing to do a complete exam of my shoulder and ignoring what I was trying to explain to him, I relized he truly did not care about the complexity of my injury and I stopped answering his questions. Terrible! His god complex is so great that he accused me of lying to him about my bleeding and my pain. The problem is, no one will touch my elbow, now that it needs another surgery, because he is the "god on the hill!" I have no choice but to go back to him!
Horrible experience, I’m a 20 year old female and he completely screwed up my foot, 2 years later and I still have not been able to get it fixed. Arrogant and will most likely blame his screw ups on you smoking cannabis to deal with the pain he caused.

This office staff is absolutely horrible. My 16 year old son was referred to Dr Orfaly for a serious elbow injury on 8/5/19. It took my husband and I over 8 calls to his office staff to finally get an appointment with Dr Orfaly for 10/1/19. Every time we called, we would get the run around. They could not find x-rays or MRI and needed them before they could even schedule an appointment, they had one, but not the other, they had them both, but he was going to be on vacation and then last but not least, he might not be the bes... read more
Dr. Orfaly performed 3 surgeries on my elbow and my arm and hand are worse now than before surgery. I thought he was the best but it turned out he just had a God complex. He overbooks his surgery days so that he is always late and is always in a hurry, which means he is always in a hurry to finish up and get to the next patient. He left a ton of bone fragments in me that I will have trouble with the rest of my life and I can't feel half of my hand because he destroyed my ulna nerve. BAD DOCTOR!
