I chose Dr. Starr after researching providers who accepted my insurance and scheduled an appointment to have a small eyelid lesion evaluated. Before my visit, I provided my insurance information and was told to bring $180–$425 in cash or check, despite having a $50 specialist copay. I was also informed of a mandatory refraction fee. Dr. Starr and his entire office were outstanding to work with. I recently brought two of my fighters in to see him and the experience from scheduling through the actual appointments was seamless. Dr. Starr was excellent from start to finish. He was extremely professional, thorough, and took the time to make sure every part of the exam was carefully explained and addressed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and does not rush through appointments. He was also very accommodating, attentive, and made the entire experience comfortable and stress free.
