Very unfortunately; the absolute bottom of the barrel.
I’m forced to complain publicly because Dr. Soper and staff do not respond to my complaints. I worked 7+ years, no work issues, steady attendance, & recent psychotherapy. I spent 8 years living in a domestic violence (DV) household & left aug 7, 2020. I told dr Soper about DV escape in detail on sep 14 2020; his response was to disparage my PTSD symptoms. I’d rather eat dog meat.
He made accusations about me personally, questioned my honesty, and embarrassed me in front of staff. Uncaring, & basically a horrible person.
Don't believe any of the negative reviews. Dr. Soper and his staff(All new people since many of these reviews were posted) have been MORE than helpful in helping to treat my dibilitating OCD, Depression and anxiety. They are always so kind and understanding, even when I come in loudly jumping, tapping and compulsing in the waiting room. The doctor has been willing to try various meds and ideas that no other practitioner I had dealt with. I had previously went to County Mental health for years
Dr. Soper seems entirely disinterested in this patient. He rarely looks up from his computer and frequently answers his cell phone during appointments. The office staff is a train wreck, and is ever-changing. Good luck with co-pays and billing. And forget about medication refills. It takes more than a FAX from your pharmacy; you will have to make multiple phone calls for this basic function.
Rude staff. Dr. Soper seemed to be very uncaring and was unprepared for our appointment. Unfortunate.
Docter Soper provides a decent service but his staff is the absolute worst. Having limited options in the area does not give this business the right to treat their clients in such a poor manner. My main and specific complaint is in regards to the billing department managed by Natasha. Her lack of any type of customer service and disrespectful attitude makes me wish that I can provide a lower rating than one star. This issue made me stop seeing Dr. Soper and also file a complaint with the BBB.
Initially, he seemed like a caring, humane physician healer. If he found your buried neck deep under a desert sun, and you ask for a drink, he will inform you that, "I cannot get involved here." "Call my office and make an Appt. His bookkeepers are the rejecs from the Dollar Store Applicants here, and do not understand the concept of Debits+Credits = 0. Complain, and you are a troublesome "Mental Patients." It's sad, but he's the best Humboldt has to offer. In my humble opinion, of course.
