The staff was amazing from the receptionist, medical assistant and PA, I felt that they cared about my well-being. They were happy to help and answer all of my questions. The post-surgery care was exceptional. Short wait time for appointments and very thorough during follow up care.
Dr. Dickerman is excellent in every way. He is knowledgeable, professional and an extremely skilled surgeon. He Is kind and attentive when seeing you in his office. Dr. Dickerman looks at each patient, their lifestyle and their needs and will explore other options before suggesting surgery. He has cared for my husband, myself, and several friends we have referred to him. His staff is kind and professional and makes each patient feel important. Dr. Dickerman is the BEST and will always be our choice!!
Dr. Dickerman operated on my spine two separate times, two years apart. He saved my sanity and lifestyle. I am a breeder and avid rider of Tennessee Walking Horses. If it were not for the amazing results of my surgeries I would have had to walk away from my career and my passion. I was fastidious about following doctor’s orders and just 12 weeks after a three level stabilization I was back in the saddle and pain free! Thank you Dr. Dickerman and staff!
I flew from Alabama to see Dr.Dickerman due to my chronic neck and arm pain. I was dropping items and becoming weaker. Dr. Dickerman did a one hour surgery on me and I flew back home the following day. It was worth the trip to know I have someone with the highest level of training and experience. Highly recommend
Tori and Dr. Elder did a great job working with me and my insurance. Fantastic office! Dr. Dickermans’ surgery went as expected and totally relieved my back and leg pain. Dr. Dickerman told me how to eat and supplement during recovery. I’m now 10 weeks out and pain-free and back to playing golf.
Staff were courteous and professional. Dr. Dickerman discussed several options for treatment but wanted me to stop smoking and lose weight prior to surgery. Initially I was hurt but then realized he was trying to help me. He referred me to a weight loss physician to help and i’ve also quit smoking. Very pleased, I’m a new person.

Had surgery May 09, 2018. If I could rate him less, I would. Poor bedside manner, arrogant, saw him 2X in 12+ office visits, very rude, would not attempt to determine problem - only staple & restitch to band aid the issue in hopes of it healing. PA stapled & restitched my incision in the office 4 times post surgery due to a drainage issue/severe infection. I would not go to him period. He messed up my back to the point I had to see another doc. Then 2 more surgeries. The doc that I went to see he told me Dickerman didn't know how to fix me now I will be on pain management the rest of my life. I had to lose weight and I lost 50lbs and when i called his office they wouldn't give me an appointment .
