On 17 November 2023, I had my 4-month post-op follow-up with Dr. Safwat Zaki at Kettering Memorial Hospital and he was incredibly happy for me and the outcome/results from my prostatectomy utilizing the da Vinci surgical system (robotically assisted device for minimally invasive surgery) to remove my prostate. Seemed irritated having to deal with me. No humor, I was given orders to have my PSA drawn then would not see me. Had another appointment 5-6 months later. I found a wonderful, caring, professional urologist in the interim that interacted. That actually had, and has live visits with and corrected a problem. That had been a traumatic procedure performed by Safwat Zaki. Surprisingly I can’t imagine all the 5 star reviews.
Love Dr. D he has helped me through hysterectomy, breast cancer and bouts of female problems due to the cancer. Wonderful
I was a patient for several years. One staffer was always rude. I left because Dr. Dale (as he liked to be called) tried to shame me into taking a osteoporosis drug without regard to my concerns.
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in early 2020 after having an MRI Fusion Prostate Biopsy preformed. My Gleason score was 6. At my age, this would normally result in a “watch and see”, but that is why you want an experienced and very well qualified surgeon for your doctor. I was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma. Dr. Zaki performed a partial nephrectomy and removed the tumor. He did the surgery robotically with less pain and shorter recovery time. I’m doing great with no complications. Dr. Zaki is an excellent surgeon.
Successful surgery for blocked urethra from swollen prostate. Extremely helpful in understanding the issues. Excellent follow-up care. VERY grateful he came to Dayton from Cincinnati.
