Very abrasive bedside manner and does not at all care about what the patient’s wishes are. I was adamant and extremely clear that I wanted light sedation for my colonoscopy. I have done this procedure before fully conscious with no issues at all. He tried to bully me into agreeing to full sedation and I did not. I was wheeled I to the procedure room and Dr. Hartwig proceeded by giving me a full dose of anesthesia, knocking me out.
