Dr Johnson is very good at diagnosing any vision problems and correcting them with the least intrusion into the patient's life. His office staff has been with him for over ten years. They are knowledgeable and friendly.
Excellent Doctor! He really took the time to listen to what I had to say. I never had to wait for very long before I was called in to be seen. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this doctor to anyone. He wasn't my usual Doctor I see (my usual Ophthalmologist was on vacation) but he took me in anyway and I'm going to start seeing him for my Ophthalmology needs from now on. Highly recommended!
Dr. Johnson's practice is well-run with a minimal wait time with a professional and personable staff. Dr. Johnson is one of the top ophthalmologists I've ever had to care for my eyes. His eye exam was quick, through and professionally accomplished. All the while making me feel as though I was his only patient for the day; his attention was totally focused on me and my needs. He has performed cataract surgery on my husband's eyes and a friend's eyes; both quite successfully.
Dr Johnson and staff are fantastic!!!! From appointment setting to end of visit. Everyone is polite, thorough and very helpful. Dr Johnson goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best care.upon completion of my exam he referred me for further testing. He secured my appointment with another facility the same day. My situation required immediate attention and he made sure that I was it was addressed right away. I thank Dr Johnson and staff so much for getting me the attention I required.
Dr. Johnson is one of two doctors that I say are exceptional, and both are affiliated with Lewis Gale. He is kind, caring, polite and he listens to your concerns and answers thems in a manner easy to understand. His entire office staff follows his lead. I would highly recommend Dr Richard Johnson as your eye-care provider, especially if you have cataracts (his area of expertise). Hands-down, the best!
Dr Johnson is very thorough and has helped me with my health problems. He cares and took the time to help diagnose my neurological issue, and vision changes . I have been worked in when problems arise, his staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Dr Johnson and his staff.
I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for almost 3 years. I have an extensive medical history and my eyes are near the top of my issues and need specific tests and care. I live in Christiansburg and all of my other specialists have been transferred to UVA in Charlottesville. I told the doctors at UVA that I would not trade Dr. Johnson....he truly cares about his patients and takes the time to make sure I understand everything. Thank you Dr. Johnson!!!
