I misplaced medical card & was willing to come back in morning with $40 copay. They refused and then added that my appointment would be considered a "no show" & a large fee would be added. My husband was able to send me medical card over the phone. The receptionist told doctor. He was rude & rushed me after he gave me bad news.Would not explain what I had.Told me neuro-surgeon would help & not to come back. No beside manner.Spent 2 minutes with me.No care or compassion, only interested in your money

My first appointment with him in August, I brought my mother with me because I was getting over the flu. He claimed I shouldn't be driving and should be living with my mom even though my seizures were maintained on medication for over 7 months. I go back again in October to have him send a note to my primary care doctor to say I'm ok to drive because I have other health issues and he could have done that on my last visit. He's rude and doesn't listen.

I have been experiencing bad health since 2012 with several abdominal surgeries. In the last six months, I have had weakness on my left side and have to use a cane. On top of the weakness, I seem to be having short term memory loss and trouble speaking. I saw Dr Babkes and tried to give him my whole history, but he interrupted for his own agenda. Also while he was doing some test such as pulling my arm while I tried to resist, he claimed I wasn't trying. I would have loved for him to listen!

He didn't really listen to my concerns, only spent 10 minutes with me and just wrote me a prescription. After researching the Rx he wrote me, I am starting to wonder why it was ever put on this. Now I am having horrible side effects and he did not seem concerned at all. Not super happy.
