Being a Diabetic, 30+ years, I have had the need to see a neurologist. Being new to Maryland, I am glad that I saw Dr. Babkes. He was very thorough and kind. He listened to my concerns, answered my questions and explained to me the results of my tests and recommendations. Dr. Babkes was awesome. I will definitely see him again. His staff is great as well, very accommodating and pleasant
In all my 72 years, Dr. Babkes is by far the best doctor I have ever had. His "bedside manner" is kind and caring -- which is rare to find. I suffer from tremor in my hands, inherited from my Mother's side of the family. The treatment I have been receiving from Dr. Babkes has been a godsend. I have very little tremor now and a much better quality of life. Every doctor should be like him!
i have been a patient of Dr. Babkes for more than a year and find him to be a pleasant and helpful and careful person whom I would be pleased to recommend to all. He initially completed a through evaluation of my symptoms, supported by testing, then proposed a course of treatment that appears to be effective. His office staff reflects his pleasant, helpful nature and his office is conveniently located in Ellicott City.
I've been Dr. Babkes' patient for five years. I've been treated for epilepsy for 55 years, for peripheral neuropathy for ten years. Dr. Babkes has been thorough in insuring that my treatment is appropriate.
Dr. Babkes is a caring professional. He listens, and makes clear recommendations and ensures the patient understands. His willingness to aid patients to receive care and products is without compare. I find his knowledge, approach to my care, and his addressing of my physical and emotional needs outstanding. I highly recommend him to others, especially those I know who need care concerning multiple sclerosis. You will find none better!
Wonderful visit to diagnose and treat painless migraines. Not had another one since he treated me. He is pleasant, informative, thorough and approachable. Very nice staff. Highly recommend.
Excellent doctor! A physiotherapist told me that Dr. Babkes’ wise decisions are why I’m still mobile after more than 30 years with MS. And over the years he got my insurance company to cover everything I needed. He really cares and makes good decisions.
Dr. Babkes is an excellent practioner. He is so knowledgeable while presenting you with a quiet,receptive, calming and punctual appointment. A five star experience.
I saw Dr. Babkes for problems with migraines and visual disturbances. At my first appointment, he listened to all my concerns and asked further questions instead of just brushing me off as other doctors had done. Then he sent me for an MRI. At my follow-up, he did a great job explaining the findings of the MRI and spent as much time as needed answering my questions and making sure I understood everything. I felt as if he was genuinely invested in helping me get better.
