Dr. Pleva expects upfront payment, his only concern is $$$$. He doesn't care about patient problems, office staff very rude and unprofessional, My mother was treated horribly here.The woman up front was difficult to deal with and was clearly out for the paycheck. I wouldn't take my dog to this office. What an unprofessional joke...Update: come to find out...my mother had a low paying medicare plan and that is why this joke of a Dr.. Wouldn't take her. Incredible experience. Guy expects upfront payment and tells you all about his problems. Like most MDs, his only concern is $$$$. Brazen is an understatement. Saw another Dr who was nice. B ut good is unknown.
I had a colonoscopy two days ago and the service was excellent! As a retired RN, who worked in the hospital setting, I've had tons of Dr. Pleva's patients and there was never a problem after they had a colonoscopy from Dr. Pleva. Reviews state he doesn't have good bedside manner, he just isn't a gabby physician. Personally, I don't care what his bedside manners are, it's how well he does his job. Office staff also great!
Dr. Pleva's office apparently waited until the last minute before sending a referral to my primary's office. I had already starting my fasting and was minutes away from drinking my prep when I discovered my colonoscopy wasn't going to happen. Totally upsetting and unacceptable!
Unless you need a colonoscopy, are bleeding, or have gall stones, there is nothing he will do. Staff was awesome but he was short with everything and didn't seem like he cared.
