Terrible bedside manner. Typing on computer whole time you are with him. Didn't get a printout of my results until I was at the counter checking out. Therefore, I didn't have a chance to ask pertinent questions about my results. Take this medicine for the rest of your life, see you in a year. .

I was on stretcher ready to go for peoceedure..Dr Pleva threw open the curtain and asked me if I paid. I said i tried to pay but they couldn't accept payment at the surgery center. His office had called me 4 times prior to tell me payment must be made up frontwhich I fully intended to do. Never once did they say to pay at his office. My experience with him was totally humiliation.

I would not recommend anyone I cared about to see Dr. Pleva! His bedside manner is pathetic! He barely looks out from behind his computer screen to have eye contact. After the procedure, I had to see him as I had concerns about my colonoscopy procedure and told him that I felt everything while under. I have had 3 other colonoscopy procedures and had never had this experience before. He began arguing with me as to what I felt! Never again!!

The office staff was pleasant and saw that I was seen quickly. They expected my co-payment which I gladly provided. Dr. Pleva was professional and courteous, friendly but not overly friendly but that was okay. I certainly would recommend him.

I had an emergency admittance to the hospital with a hemmoraging ulcer. Dr Pleva was the doctor on call and took excellent care of me with an endoscopy and cauterization. Even though it was a Saturday afternoon he was nice, not talkative but pleasant. The follow up office visit was the opposite of what I expected having read the reviews. He answered all of the many questions I had and was very patient with me. The office staff was delightful too. I highly reccommend Dr Pleva.

Dr. Pleva expects upfront payment, his only concern is $$$$. He doesn't care about patient problems, office staff very rude and unprofessional, My mother was treated horribly here.The woman up front was difficult to deal with and was clearly out for the paycheck. I wouldn't take my dog to this office. What an unprofessional joke...Update: come to find out...my mother had a low paying medicare plan and that is why this joke of a Dr.. Wouldn't take her. This Dr. Is out for all money and no heart f

Incredible experience. Guy expects upfront payment and tells you all about his problems. Like most MDs, his only concern is $$$$. Brazen is an understatement. Saw another Dr who was nice. B ut good is unknown.

I had a colonoscopy two days ago and the service was excellent! As a retired RN, who worked in the hospital setting, I've had tons of Dr. Pleva's patients and there was never a problem after they had a colonoscopy from Dr. Pleva. Reviews state he doesn't have good bedside manner, he just isn't a gabby physician. Personally, I don't care what his bedside manners are, it's how well he does his job. Office staff also great!
