I would not recommend this office or orthodontist. At first we had a decent experience until we wanted to purchase a new retainer for my daughter. She had dutifully worn hers each night and because of that it was worn and becoming uncomfortable. At a follow-up appointment, I asked if we could purchase an new one for her. Dr. Dahar absolutely refused. It was the most bizarre experience I have ever had with a provider.
Did my braces back in 2015. The last appointment before removing my braces they made an incorrect adjustment which had one of my bottom front teeth poking out while the rest of my teeth were straight (it was abundantly obvious). Upon coming into my last appointment to remove my braces Dr. Dahar saw and took note of this mistake and his solution was to adjust it ONLY while taking my top braces and then “marking it in my retainer”. Avalon Orthodontics is a great practice all around! The staff is friendly, the doctors are comforting, & they all really care about their patients!
First time at an ortho and I looked into numerous before scheduling & deciding to go with Dr Dahar. He explained everything fully in detail he was quick to the point and got to the bottom line…the cost, he let us know our options & what it would look like. Looking forward to getting my sons teeth straight & continuing care locally.
