There are not enough doctors like Dr. Richard Lee. If you are lucky enough to have him as your doctor, then you already know. A 5th generation doctor, their family started the Polo Alto Medical Center (Stanford Medical Center). Knowledgeable beyond any doctor I have ever met. Unconventional, yes, a superior strength. He treats the patient, with no allegiance to pharma. He listens to what you need, and integrates your health and care according to who 'you' are as an individual.I trusted my life to Dr. Lee on numerous solo exp... read more
Dr. Lee is not your average GP. I actually look forward to seeing him. Not only does he really listen to you, but he doesn't give the same humdrum, cookie cutter advice you're used to getting. Although he's a top-notch MD, he has no problem thinking outside the prescription paradigm to suggest herbal remedies, lifestyle changes, or whatever else might get you the best result with the least damage. My favorite thing about Dr. Lee: he always asks, "What else? If you could change one thing to feel better, what would it be?" WHO... read more
Dr. Lee has been my MD for over 12 years and simply been outstanding. He treats you like an individual and not a group, uses the latest medical trents with a dose of caution, treatsnthe whole body and not just a number on a lab test. Is always there for you no matter what country I am calling from or time of day. He only uses meds if there is no alternative and even then at a sparing dose.

Extremely perceptive guy.
$1800 fee is peanuts in the long run I could not help but notice the comment below (one of the rare negative ones) about Dr. Lee choosing to belong to MDVIP which charges $1800 a year. What a TINY price to pay to receive the value of an in depth, comprehensive conversation and learning session. I flew to California from Alaska to see Dr. Lee after a recommendation from my parents. Dr. Lee diagnosed a problem 3 other doctors missed, spent 1.5 hours with me, and also included my husband in the conversation when I asked. I am s... read more
Richard D. Lee I select Richard Lee as as family doctor from a list. What it is terrible is that he would let a new patient to wait for over a month. Even if you beg him, he would not change mind. Now he is asking for $1800 a year member fee in addition to insurance. How greedy is such a doctor. I am sick and need to see doctor. If I switch a doctor right now, I will have to wait for over half a month for the new doctor to be effective according to the insurance policy. I would suggest that Mr. Lee specify the additional req... read more
