Dr Shinaman was pleasant to work with, had some great ideas for helping me manage my condition. We started a plan together and I had a follow-up with him to finalize the plan, however, on this follow-up appointment I was given a PA instead of Dr Shinaman which was disappointing. It lacked continuity, and I did not feel particularly good with the final product or the answers to my questions. I ended up going to AI for questions I could not get answered, which does not feel appropriate.
Efficient, thorough, and friendly staff
I began seeing Dr. Shinaman in September 2025. After undergoing three surgeries in the prior 15 months, I was dealing with significant, very specific pain in my upper back and shoulder. A neurologist determined that I had severe myofascial pain syndrome originating from a concentrated area near my left shoulder blade.
