I also had a negative experience with Dr. Lochhead. During my second visit he was in the room for maybe all of 5 minutes. He had sent me for bone scan and several Xrays only to tell me he couldn't find any reason for all of my pain. He seemed to be in a big hurry to get out of the room. I had to stand up and ask some more questions as he was trying to leave the room. All-in-all, not impressed. His PA was much more thorough and seemed genuinely interested in trying to help me find a solution.

Dr. Lochhead reviewed all my scans and X rays with me and went over treatment options. He explained thoroughly the procedure he recommended and why it was the best option for my condition. I received excellent information about the surgery and how to prepare for it. I woke up in recovery pain-free for the first time in weeks! Post-surgical care was excellent. Thank you, Dr. Lochhead

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Lochhead. He was in the room for maybe all of 5 minutes. Sent me for Nuclear Bone Scan and several back and hip Xrays. His assistant called and said he reviewed my films and there was nothing he could do for me. I asked for a personal consult with him to go over my Scan and X-ray results and was told he had nothing for a month. I asked for only 5 minutes to visit with him, as I am in pain. I was not granted that after all the expensive radiology.

His team was able to get me into sugery within a week off my diagnosis and resolved my troubles of compressed spinal cord and pinched nerves. Very professional and straight to the point.

Dr. Lochhead is one of the best doctors we have ever been to. He has gone out of his way to make sure I have the best care. I would recommend him to anyone . He really cares about his patients and their family. Christina his nurse is just awesome and we think the world of both of them.Thank you for being so caring

I found Dr. Lochhead to be friendly, forthright and honest. After being referred to his Group for a specific operation after his due diligence with the test he wanted run it was determined that he could fix the problem rather than mask the problem. I have even sent a grandson to see him. His Medical Assistant Christina is also special and works hard to make sure everything goes as it should.

Dr. Richard Lochhead, Neurosurgeon in Boise, Idaho was referred to me by my neurologist, Dr. Rodrigo Lim from Grand Ronde Neuro hospital. Dr. Lochhead is the doctor you would want to treat you/ take care of you. I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis (dystonia) and when I first met him, I was very impressed with his caring and the kind of treatment he provided in explaining my condition. I was in so much pain and he made sure that I was comfortable before any surgery was done. Dr. Lochhead explain
