Failed to consider early decompression for traumatic spinal cord injury.
Dr Lochhead was my moms brain surgeon 6 yrs ago & he was amazing, very tentative to her and she seen him quite often aftwards and he always gives her a hug and sits and talks to us, his demeanor is amazing & Very caring. When she was in hospital last year he stopped in on his way home to see her and went over her chart to see if he could help in anyway, that is how caring & genuine he is!!! It's been 14 months since herniated disk, sciatic nerve surgery and Dr Lockhead gave me TOTAL pain relief. I will be eternally greatful to him and his wonderful staff. He is my #1 recommend Dr for any neurological problems. Amen
I can say never wanted to have another back surgery but after seeing dr. loch head and him helping me to understand what needed to be done and his reassuring me that he would do I can tell you I feel the best I have felt in years and what a blessing to be pain free.I would say he is the only one to recommend and his staff are just as good as he is wonderful people doing all they can to help as much as they can we feel truly blessed
Dr.Lochhead was the fifth neurosurgeon in five states that I saw about extreme back pain. All the other doctors told me they could not relieve my pain,dr. Lochhead was confident that he could. Well I had the operation it was very complex and took along time dr. Lochhead did an awesome job, All follow up visits were kind and all my concerns were addressed in a kind way.Dr took me out of pain I had been in for over 20 years and years later I am still doing great highly recommend him.
Dr. Lochhead was very good to work with. He explained the options and the process for the surgery and the steps afterwards. In addition he interacted well with my mother who has some memory issues. He handled the related issues that arose with kindness and common sense. I would definitely recommend him to others.
Dr Lockhead did a great job on my father's back surgery; fusing vertebrae and opening up space for the nerves. What seemed to me to be a delicate, dangerous operation turned out great, thanks to this doctor.
Went to Dr. Lochhead with extreme pain in my left hip and down my left leg. X-ray's showed the nerves being pinched at L4 and L5 vertebra. A laminectomy was performed within two weeks. The pain has disappeared totally. Have not needed pain medication other than what I received the one night I spent in the hospital. Had a brace for six weeks, but no longer need it. Doing therapy, which is going very well. Dr. Lochhead and his assistant, David as well as the whole staff, were absolutely wonderful.
less than 5 min in office with him, very egotistical did not listen to one word i had to say or seem to care came in room said is see u smoke i wont touch u tell u quit for 3 months, then said nurse will come in and send u for further test, that it. he did not care what i had to say or what my pain was nothing.. then i get bill for 25 dollars to pay for a none smoking consolation . which is total nonsense he never gave no kind of consult . very dissatisfied with his care and treatment ,
